The jury for Stiftung Niedersachsen's »Spectrum« International Award for Photography has decided that this year's prize be given to the Iranian photographer, Bahman Jalali.
Jalali, who lives in Teheran, will be presented with the award in the spring of 2011 at the opening of a retrospective of his work at the Sprengel Museum Hannover. There will be an extensive accompanying publication.
